It was just over a year ago, that I was so warmly greeted by the warm hospitality, robust flavors and vibrant colors of San Miguel de Allende.   San Miguel de Allende is the home of Float Sano and Santosha San Miguel de Allende, which have been the hosts to Santosha School's annual Day of the Dead Retreat.   More specifically, I am grateful to Deanna Sapp, the kind, soft and brilliant heart of Float Sano and Santosha San Miguel.

Deanna has a long-standing love for Mexico.  Her visits as a child left an imprint in her heart, and you can experience this love as you walk through the streets of San Miguel with her.  As she took un on a walking tour through San Miguel, she beamed with appreciation, respect and admiration for the charm, history, colors and character of San Miguel de Allende - the heart of Mexico.  Recognized for  its cobblestone streets, Spanish colonial style architecture, and creative cuisine, San Miguel de Allende was awarded  the "best city in the world" by Travel and Leisure.  

It's an easy, affordable, nourishing and memorable trip.   Definitely put this on your "to do" list.

What is Float Sano and Santosha San Miguel?  Float Sano is a float spa and yoga studio located in the historic center of San Miguel de Allende. Out of more than 600 float centers in the world, Float Sano is the first in Mexico, offering 2 float pods, infrared sauna, and massage. Santosha San Miguel is a yoga studio on the roof terrace on the 2nd floor.

I experienced my first float at Float Sano, and I am hooked.  My experience was much like Deanna describes it "was blown away by how easily my mind went quiet that first time in the float pod."  Deanna opened Float Sano in order to offer something that has helped her so much, so that other people could find relaxation and healing too.

What am I thankful for Deanna Sapp of Float Sano and Santosha San Miguel?   The Santosha Day of the Dead Retreat with Float Sano and Santosha San Miguel was  continued beautiful outpouring of Deanna's love for San Miguel.  My tastebuds, cultural appreciation, sense of peace were awakened by my trip to Float Sano and Santosha San Miguel.

Maha in Sanskrit means great, and Tracy Lawson is pretty great.  Tracy is the owner of Maha Soul in Littleton, CO.   At Maha Soul, they encourage you to "Engage your own greatness!".

Just being in the Tracy's presence, by phone or in person, I feel her vibrant, kind and optimistic sparkle.   And, you can feel it when you walk into the downtown Littleton space where she has magically brought the sacred, fun, funky and tranquil all into one spot.

I had the wonderful privilege and opportunity to lead Santosha Teacher Training at Maha Soul in 2018-2019.  Tracy and the Maha Soul were amazing hosts, wonderfully supportive and fully receptive to living and learning the yogic practices of yoga, Ayurveda, breathing, philosophy, and more.

Tracy and Ryan, her husband, enjoy the historic Littleton downtown, but you can also find them adventuring across the diverse terrain in their Jeep with their dog, Roxie.   If you're in the Denver area, definitely stop by and say hi, and enjoy the healing energy of Maha Soul.

What am I thankful for Tracy Lawson of Maha Soul?  Although our friendship has not been longstanding, I feel connected to Tracy beyond the in person time we've shared.  

She simply radiates.  I love being in her presence because I feel supported, trusted, nurtured and loved.   I know that is the case for many people that meet her.  Maha Soul is clearly a reflection of a great soul - the souls that create it, support it and find healing in it.
